Nancy Markezin has an applied arts background, with a strong emphasis on graphics from Penn State University. Her involvement with art has come full circle, several years in the interior design field, particularly American Decorative Design, a brief time refamilarizing herself with fine art through drawing and watercolor and now a more studio approach with acrylics and oils. She studied at the Art In Progress Studio under the direction of Maxine Manges (Krinsky). She has also studied with Bea Redifer, Isa Barnett, and taken classes at the Pennsylvania Academy of Art. She is an active member of the 3rd street Gallery Philadelphia, PA.
